Greetings, fellow (future) blogger!
Welcome to my very own personal space on the internet. Since you’ve managed to find your way here, I’m going to assume you’d like to know a little more about me. So here’s the gist of it!
My Experience With Affiliate Marketing
In 2013 I began looking for ways to earn money online. I was unemployed at the time and was trying to provide to the household as much as I possibly could. I hate mooching off of others!
When I think back on it, I wasn’t very clever with money. I ended up spending the few savings I had on products making ridiculous claims about becoming a millionaire overnight. And I swallowed it all, without chewing. (I was desperate, okay?)
Naturally, I didn’t make a single dime online.
Did I learn, though? Nope.
Throughout several months, I purchased products that I seriously thought would make me filthy rich. (with only a push of a button, I might add)
In fact, it finally got so silly that I was trying to recover my losses by buying even more products, in hopes of learning that “one secret trick” that would make cash flow into my bank account on autopilot.
Stupid, I know.
This kept going until that one day, when I finally happened to stumble upon affiliate marketing. (I’m still so damn happy about it)
Before you ask:
No, affiliate marketing is not a magic bullet. No, affiliate marketing won’t turn you into a millionaire overnight.
However, unlike the products I’d previously bought, affiliate marketing can make you money. Lots of money.
Soon after reading about affiliate marketing, it became clear to me that I had to put in a little more work than just pushing a button and kicking back in my chair. It requires a little more effort than that.
However, the more work you put into it, the better the reward.
These are screenshots from my absolute proudest moments of my affiliate marketing career. It’s not much money, but it’s MY money… MY accomplishments. They date back to 2014-2015, which is when I finally started to get some traction after all my hard work.
Even if far from all of this was pure profit, it still proved to me that making money online was possible. Money was finally being deposited into my bank account.
Let’s just make an understatement and say: I was hooked.
I Want To Help You
There are plenty of ways to make money online. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve also tried quite a few of them already.
However, some methods work better than others. I know – I’ve tested quite a lot of them.
On this blog, I want to guide you into making a full-time income with your blog. And the good news is that it really doesn’t matter whether your blog is about making money (like this one), dog training or raising your kids right. No matter if your blog and mine look completely different from each other, the principles of earning money are still the same.
You’ll be hearing plenty about these principles, I promise.
Why Did I Start This Blog?
I started this blog for two reasons:
- To help people like you to succeed in generating a full-time income online with your blog.
- To personally learn how to make money with, specifically, a blog.
You see, previously I’ve focused a lot on making money through paid ads (meaning, paying real money for visitors who click on my ads).
While this can be very lucrative, I feel that it’s also quite unstable and short-term. You’re only as good as your latest campaign, as they say.
By building my blog, my brand and my audience, my focus is to create a long-term, full-time business.
Why am I telling you this?
Because I want you to do it with me. Work on making money with your blog, as I work on mine. We can do this, together!
So as I learn new methods, find new useful products/services and run into problems and manage to find their solutions, I will share them here on this very blog. I will try to make this as transparent as humanly possible, so you can just copy my methods and apply them to your own blog.
If you ever need a hand with something, or just wish to get in touch and have a chat, feel free to leave a comment below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
To your success,
Michael “Hefty Mike” Mosesson
