What is The Commission League?
The Commission League is a course on making money online with affiliate marketing by targeting influencers and their e-mail lists. The product is created by a well-known internet marketer by the name of Mike Balmaceda, who’s also the guy behind products like Six Figure Success Academy and AMPLIFY.
It’s designed like most affiliate marketing systems in the sense that it consists of 3 simple steps:
- Find an audience who have a certain problem.
- Find a solution (product or service) that can solve this problem.
- Connect the audience with the solution.
What makes The Commission League stand out is that it focuses on techniques to get traffic from influencers’ e-mail lists, which is significantly less common than from their social profiles or even solo ads.
The price of the product is set at the pretty standard $997, but what’s quite surprising is that there are no upsells after joining the program. Especially because it’s a product hosted on Clickbank, where it’s pretty much the norm to be offered upsells after a purchase.
The Commission League comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, but there’s a little twist to it. Mike Balmaceda claims that you’ll be making $3k within 30 days of joining or “they’ll coach you until you do”. I’m a bit skeptical against claims like this and usually thread carefully when I see them. However, it might be worth testing for 30 days and then request a refund directly from Clickbank.
There’s also a Facebook community available to you as you sign up, where you’ll be able to quickly get help from either the Commission League team or other members of the program. Having supportive people behind you in your marketing journey is so darn underrated, especially when you’re new to the game or feeling like you’re on your way to giving up.
How Does The Commission League Work?
So the way this product is different from other products I’ve reviewed is that it’s taking advantage of influencers rather than ads, SEO or your own established social following.
However, you’ll not be focusing on the influencers’ social profiles, but rather their e-mail lists. Why is that?
Well first of all, when done right e-mail marketing converts higher than any other marketing channel out there. And the ROI (return on investment) is insane because you’ll only have to pay for the leads once and then have access to them virtually forever.
But what’s perhaps even more important is that the audience of an e-mail list is often extremely targeted because they have taken an extra step to actually become subscribers of that list. They are interested in what the owner of the list has to say and this is definitely worth taking advantage of!
As you may already know, targeting can make or break a marketing campaign. If you’re not targeting the right people, nobody (or very few) will buy what you have to offer. The influencers have already taken care of the grunt work for us; they’ve built a targeted following and we’re ready to pay a small fee to send them an e-mail or two.
So to start sending them e-mails, we’re gonna need an autoresponder. Luckily, the team behind The Commission League have already thought of that. There’s actually one included for with extra charge. You’ll even get 50 pre-written follow-up emails to use with it. In fact, you’ll get an entire lead capture system that’s ready to run from the get-go. And they’ll even set it all up for you if you don’t wanna do it yourself!
You’ll also be given 1,000 high quality leads and they’ll even show you the hot offers they’ve previously had success with. Quite generous, if you ask me.
I must admit that there is quite a lot of hype in the sales letter, though. It’s the norm. A marketer needs to capture your interest somehow, but sometimes it gets quite ridiculous.
For example, the claim that you’ll only need to work 20 minutes per day is pretty silly. It’s going to take longer than that, but as mentioned the influencers have luckily already collected the audience for you, so it’s not going to take as much time as it could have from, like, running ads.
Furthermore, they also claim that building a website or blog doesn’t work, nor does writing review articles. I can say, from first hand experience, that this is bogus. You’re reading my blog right now, aren’t you? A review article, in fact!
But don’t get me wrong. Marketing and hype go hand in hand. It’s just a matter of sifting through it to get to the true value of a product and The Commission League offers plenty of it.
Is Making $1000 With The Commission League A Scam?
“We guarantee you’ll generate $3k within 30 days of joining or we’ll coach you until you do.”
Almost sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?
Making a butt-load of money daily online is possible, but you should prepare yourself that you’re not going to be seeing these numbers. Especially not as you’re just starting out.
$1K per day means $30K per month, which essentially could get you a Lamborghini and still let you keep some pocket change after 10 months. Does this sound realistic for a beginner? Of course not.
However, this doesn’t mean that The Commission League can’t make you money.
Influencers have access to very real people, who have very real problems. If you manage to solve their problems in a satisfactory fashion, you will be making money. Just don’t believe that it’s going to be an effortless and quick path to get there.
So just to be clear – The Commission League is not a scam, but it’s not going to be as easy as they’re making it sound.
How To Quit Chasing Your Leads
The thing with using influencers to get targeted leads is that you’ll be spending money in order to reach them. You’ll always be on the lookout for the next influencer to take advantage of.
Some prefer to run a business that way, and that’s okay.
However, rather than searching for the next batch of leads I personally prefer to have them all come to me. My business is designed in such a way so that people with certain problems will find me when they want solutions.
It’s all thanks to the training I’ve received over the past years. Without it, I would still be miserably churning away in the cab of a truck between 9-5.
